2022 Niro Plug-In Hybrid

There are three available trim levels for the 2022 Kia Niro Plug-In Hybrid, which include the LXS, EX, and EX Premium. All trim levels offer standard color options such as Graphite Gray, Deep Cerulean, and Steel Gray, along with premium color options like Snow White Pearl and Aurora Black Pearl. With the EX and EX Premium trims, the standard Horizon Blue and the premium Runway Red options are available. These two trim levels also include power-folding heated side-view mirrors with LED turn signal indicators, front fog lights, and LED rear combination lights.

All three trim levels come standard with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with a full parallel hybrid system that combines to provide 139 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque for a dual-clutch six-speed automatic transmission. The power of the engine alone produces 104 horsepower and 109 lb-ft of torque, while the electric motor produces 60 horsepower and 125 lb-ft of torque. The lithium-ion polymer battery has a 360 voltage and 24.7 Ah capacity for a 59 kW output. The engine delivers power to the front wheels of the 2022 Kia Niro Plug-In Hybrid as a front-wheel drive transmission layout.
