2022 Sorento- Hybrid

The 2022 Kia Sorento Hybrid comes in two trim levels: S and EX. Kia now offers a total of seven exterior paint colors for all Sorento Hybrid trims: Silky Silver, Aurora Black, Platinum Graphite, Gravity Blue, Runway Red, Steel Gray, and Snow White Pearl. Some of the standard exterior features on the Sorento Hybrid include sport body styling, a black front grille, satin chrome roof rails, mirror-mounted LED turn signal indicators, a matte black rear spoiler, solar control glass, and multi-reflector LED headlights. Also included are LED daytime running lights, 17-inch Aero wheels, automatic light control, privacy glass, and power-adjustable and heated outside mirrors.

The 2022 Kia Sorento Hybrid also features a standard 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a full parallel hybrid system. This impressive engine generates 227 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The 2022 Kia Sorento Hybrid has front-wheel drive as a standard for the S trim, with all-wheel drive available. The EX model comes standard with Kia's torque-vectoring all-wheel drive with a center-locking differential system that adjusts vehicle power based on outside terrain conditions. The 2022 Sorento Hybrid has a standard EPA estimated miles per gallon of 39 in the city and 35 on the highway for the FWD trims, with AWD models having a MPG of 36 in the city and 33 on the highway.

Interior for the standard 2022 Kia Sorento Hybrid includes the choice of Black or Gray SynTex seating materials. Tech features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen with Kia Connect Remote Connectivity with Mapcare, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Also included are power windows with driver one-touch auto-up/down, a 4.2-inch trip computer display, steering-wheel-mounted audio, hands-free phone and cruise control buttons, and a tilt and telescopic steering column that allows the driver to operate their vehicle with optimal comfort. The Hybrid also has a six-speaker audio system, a rear-camera display, voice recognition, wireless phone charger, smart key with remote and push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, LED interior, and map lighting, heated front seats, and 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat with two-way power lumbar support.

All models of the 2022 Kia Sorento Hybrid come standard with Kia's Drive Wise Driver Assist Technology suite. Some features in this safety system include forward collision avoidance, blind-spot collision avoidance, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance, driver attention warning, high beam assist, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane following assist, and a rear occupant alert. Other safety features on the Sorento Hybrid include dual front advanced and seat-mounted airbags, three-point seat belts for all seating positions, rear child safety locks, anti-lock brake system, traction control system, hill start assist control, downhill brake control, and a tire-pressure monitoring system.
