The standard trim level for the Seltos is the LX, which boasts an impressive set of 17-inch alloy wheels and halogen headlights. The standard engine utilizes a CVT, or continuously variable transmission, while the turbocharged engine functions using a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Behind the wheel of the Seltos, drivers can enjoy all-wheel drive in all trim levels except for the S, which uses front-wheel drive. With AWD capability, the Seltos performs much better in inclement weather conditions and can even handle a bit of off-roading. Despite its capability for adventure, it's also quite maneuverable around tight city streets with a relatively small size that makes it easy to park.

Inside this subcompact SUV, you'll find a notably roomy interior with more space than most other vehicles in its class, which may be unexpected considering how relatively small the vehicle is overall. With 41.4 inches of legroom in the front and 38 inches of legroom in the rear, it's easy for adults to feel comfortable no matter where they find themselves inside the Seltos. Additionally, the maximum cargo volume is 62.8 cubic feet, but you can still enjoy 26.6 cubic feet of space with the rear seats up.
