Trim Levels of the 2024 Kia Sorento: Versatility Meets Style

Behind the Kia Sorento’s refreshed good looks, there’s plenty of substance, and with eight trims to choose from, there’s one with all the features you and your family need. Below, we’ll review the features of each trim level available on the 2024 Kia Sorento.

1. LX

The entry-level LX is powered by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 191 horsepower and 181 lb.-ft. of torque. It’s paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and gets up to an EPA-estimated 31 MPG on the highway.

Despite being the first trim, the LX is loaded with features like LED Projector Headlights, a 12.3-inch touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a Smart Key with Push-Button Start and Remote Start.

2. S

Building on the LX’s standard features, the S gets gloss-black 18-inch wheels, roof rails, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Inside, dual-zone automatic climate control lets driver and passengers choose their own comfort, and a wireless phone charger and 8 USB charging ports keep everyone’s devices ready to use.

3. EX

The EX includes the S’s features, but this model gets a standard 281-horsepower 2.5-liter turbo engine with 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and 3,500 lbs. of towing capacity. Outside are gloss-black 20-inch alloy wheels and a Smart Power Liftgate with Auto-Close for easy access to the cargo area. Inside, second-row captain’s chairs reduce seating capacity to six.

4. SX

Adding to the EX’s features, the SX gets comfort features like ventilated front seats and a panoramic sunroof. Digital Key 2 and auto rain-sensing windshield wipers make driving more convenient. And more advanced safety features are added, like a Surround View Monitor to make parking and navigating tight spaces easier.

5. X-Line EX AWD

The X-Line EX AWD adds off-road features to the EX trim, including Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive, high-utility roof rails, lower body cladding, and an 8.2-inch ground clearance. Inside and out, this trim has X-Line styling, including 20-inch gloss-black alloy wheels.

6. X-Line SX AWD

This trim level includes SX features, but also adds the X-Line EX AWD’s additional features like all-wheel drive, lower body cladding, and unique X-Line styling.

7. X-Line SX Prestige AWD

With all the features of the X-Line SX AWD, this trim level adds additional luxury features like a 12-speaker Bose Premium Audio System, leather seat trim, and heated second-row captain’s chairs.

8. X-Pro SX Prestige AWD

Adding to the X-Line SX Prestige AWD features, the X-Pro SX Prestige AWD provides the ultimate performance for adventure lovers, with 17-inch gloss black wheels with all-terrain tires and an increased 4,500-lb. towing capacity.
