Oil additives also keep the engine clean, break down potential blockages, and protect against rust.
Oil gradually loses effectiveness, becoming slower and thicker due to the accumulation of dirt and minute debris absorbed as it travels. Older oil provides less wear protection, causing damage to numerous engine components. On average, your Kia needs an oil change every 5,000 to 7,500 miles. We drain and replace the oil and install a new oil filter to allow the oil to flow freely.
